NEW YEAR'S EVE - Thank you!
- We want to send a big thank-you to all who came out to the Rosewood Ballroom to help us ring in 2012! It was a great party... all because of the Friends and Fans of our band, the Rosewood and their wonderful establishment and staff, and of course all of the members of the band! If one of these ingredients were not in place, the party would not have held a candle to the memorable event that it was!

Anthony Marano Company Christmas Party- A Big thank you to Anthony Marano for having us entertain at the Anthony Marano Company's Christmas Party at the Rosewood Ballroom in Rosemont on Saturday. The food, the ambiance, the decor, and the music all came together to create a truly swank and exciting Christmas Party. Another big thank you to Jimmy, Peter and Steve at the Rosewood. As always it is a pleasure to work with them and their team!

St. Colletta's Annual Caritas Benefit- Once again it was a fantastic evening at the St. Colletta's Annual Caritas Benefit on Saturday! This year's event was held at the amazing Museum of Science and Industry, such a beautiful setting especially at this time of the year! Amongst all of the fascinating exhibits and their vast collection of Christmas trees from around the world, the honored guests had a ball dancing and supporting a great cause! We were honored to be asked to entertain for this group once again this year, as this is our 8th year working with St. Colletta's! Thank you to guest emcee Andy Avalos from NBC 5 Chicago, and especially to Barb Siwinski from St. Colletta's for hosting such a wonderful event! As always, we are looking forward to the opportunity of working with Barb and her team again next year!

Northrop Grumman Employee's 25th Anniversary Celebration-We are very pleased to have gotten the thumbs up to perform for Northrop Grumman Employee's 25th Anniversary Celebration this past Saturday at the Union League Club! A big thank you to Jennifer Harnish and Ellen Hamilton for inviting us to entertain their special guests as this was the first time that Northrop Grumman decided on live music for this annual event. The guests were treated to a special celebration that was truly over-the-top! Looking forward to joining the celebration again next year! Also, a big thank you to Steve Sleczka at the @Union League Club of Chicago for making this night happen!

Union League Club Boys and Girls Club 34th Annual Gala- The Al Sofia Orchestra performed for the Union League Club Boys and Girls Club 34th Annual Benefit Gala on Saturday with ABC 7 News Anchor, Kathy Brock, emceeing the event. The enthusiastic guests filled the dance floor all evening culminating with the Orchestra performing several encore numbers. A big thank you to Kelly Ramos at the Union League Club for inviting us to perform at this event!" Lastly, thank you to my wonderfully talented and dedicated musicians and singers for doing another fantastic job.

Congratulations!
Congratulations to Nicole and Paul who were married on October 29th and their reception was held at the the Medinah Country Club.
The group danced the night away, and they wanted the band to keep going long past the time which we were to stop!

Congratulations!
Congratulations to Robin and Chad who were married on October 28th. Their guests enjoyed the wonderful reception held at the historic Patrick Haley Mansion in Joliet. Chad and Robin had a lot of great ideas for their wedding, and they combined together to truly make an exceptional evening!

Happy Birthday to Roger!
The Al Sofia Band is glad to help Roger's family and friends wish him a Happy Birthday at the Herrington Inn in Geneva, IL. Laughs were laughed, stories were told, and a great time was had by all at this intimate affair!

Infant Welfare Society Fundraiser at the Union League Club
It was a pleasure being part of the Infant Welfare Society's Fundraiser this year! What a great cause, and what a great turnout! A beautiful and memorable night was had by all!
